Be an American Hero: Donate Blood

Veterans are American heroes. Their sacrifices gave us the freedom we value as a society. You can be an American Hero and honor their sacrifices by making a simple, small sacrifice of your own: Donate Blood.

Every day, hospitals in our region need a total of 600 blood donations to meet patients’ needs. Pittsburgh Hires Veterans is asking you to become an American Hero by Donating Blood during their blood drive week:

Sunday, June 28 to Saturday, July 4, 2020, at any Vitalant Pittsburgh Donation Center.
