This Halloween, leave the scaring to the trick-or-treaters and help Vitalant reassure nurses and doctors they’ll have the necessary blood components needed to treat their patients. Nothing is more terrifying for patients – or their loved ones – than hearing they may have to wait for their vital transfusions.
All donors who come to donate Oct. 29-31 will receive an exclusive Vitalant long-sleeved Halloween T-shirt,* redeemable by email.
When you donate blood, platelets or plasma, you could help a young cancer patient dreaming of wearing his costume; a grandma wishing she were home to hand out candy; or a father who can’t take his kids out on Halloween because he’s in the hospital. Because of you, life doesn’t stop.

- The Vitalant T-shirt is for participating donors who come to donate from Sunday, Oct. 29 through Tuesday, Oct. 31 at any Vitalant blood drive or donation center.
- The T-shirt will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
- Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive the T-shirt in the mail. While supplies last.
- Donors must have a valid email address in their Vitalant donor record to get the redemption email to claim the T-shirt.
- Final date to redeem T-shirt is Nov. 24, 2023.
- Some donors may qualify for additional promotions during this same time frame.
