Publicize your blood drive

Together, we can make the world a better place and help people realize their life-transforming potential. Thank you for taking this journey with us. We are here for you each step of the way.

Here are a few other effective ways to publicize your blood drive:

  • Create a Facebook event and invite "Vitalant Arizona" as a co-host
  • Request messaging from CEO, organizational leadership, plant manager, community leader, etc. to use in publicity and recruitment statements.
  • Find out about the ways your organization reaches it's internal and external audience and see if you can tap into other communication channels like message boards, newsletters, announcements and more.
  • Ask your account manager to schedule a blood recipient testimonial to speak at an important meeting or event to inspire more donations.
  • REMEMBER: face-to-face, personal invitations are the very best way to recruit donors.

After your blood drive is over, celebrate success and thank all of those who came out to make an impact. Feel free to use our Customizable Certificate Template to acknowledge your blood donors.
