Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. This could be a little girl in the ICU or a mother with Stage 3 leukemia. If you’re worried about needles, don’t be—most blood donors compare the experience to a mild, split-second pinch! The entire process is very safe and very fast, and you will feel amazing knowing you potentially saved up to three people.

What if we told you an hour of your time could change someone’s life? It can. In the time it takes you to read this page, nearly 100 people will receive lifesaving transfusions. By taking just an hour or so to donate, you will do something wonderful. Student blood donors are vital in helping patients in our community. Blood is perishable and in constant need.

I believe the idea that my blood could help save a life is so amazing. Even though I am not a trained medical professional, I can still make a positive impact on others.
