Join Vitalant and California State University-Chico for a blood drive to help boost the blood supply after Labor Day. Blood donations have decreased by nearly 50% since the start of summer, leading to an emergency blood shortage. All blood types are needed to ensure that patients receive the treatments they need.
When you come out to the CSU-Chico blood drive to give blood, you may help a cancer patient, a person undergoing a routine surgery, or someone with a chronic blood disorder.
One blood donation can save up to three lives. You are vital.
