Join us at the Ventura County Fairgrounds where Vitalant bloodmobiles will be collecting life-saving blood donations on Thursday, August 1, Friday, August 2, and Saturday, August 3, from 12:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Your donation during these dates earns you a free ticket to the Ventura County Fair, generously donated by the fairgrounds. You will also receive enough points in the Vitalant Rewards store to redeem a $10 gift card and be entered to win one of two $10,000 gift cards! Details here: 2024 Grocery Giveaway
The Vitalant bloodmobiles will be outside the fair entrance, near the fairground’s office and restrooms. Your free fair ticket is valid for same-day entry or can be saved for another day, valid throughout the fair until August 11th. While walk-ins are welcome, we encourage making an appointment to prioritize your donation and minimize wait times.

Check Eligibility
Parking is very limited at the fairgrounds and we recommend that donors park at one of the various shuttle locations and ride the shuttle over to the fairgrounds. Here is info on parking/shuttles from the Ventura County Fair. Parking & Shuttles - Ventura County Fairgrounds
Walk-ins are welcomed but appointments are recommended and will take priority.
Eat a solid, healthy meal prior to donating along with drinking plenty of beverages (such as water, juice or Gatorade), and avoid alcohol in the days leading up to your donation.
- Get at least 8 or 9 hours of sleep the night before your donation.
- Don’t smoke for at least one hour prior to donation.
