Many blood drives have been cancelled, so your individual donations matter now more than ever. We are now testing all donors for COVID-19 antibodies. Whether you’re eligible to give whole blood; recovered from COVID-19 and can donate convalescent plasma; or can host a traditional or virtual blood drive, you are saving lives. Learn how you can become part of the COVID Rescue Team.
There is no inherent risk of getting coronavirus from the donation procedure itself, but we follow CDC guidelines and take extra precautions to protect our staff and donors. Read our COVID-19 FAQs.
You must be under 99.5˚F at check-in to proceed with your donation.
To create space, donors are encouraged to make appointments and may even wait in their vehicles before they donate.
We are using sterile, one-time use collection sets for every donation and wiping down all high-touch areas often and after every collection.
Donors and staff are required to wear a face covering.
It doesn’t take much time and every donation has the power to save up to three lives.
