We Know You’re a Big Deal, Now It’s Time to Show It

C’mon, it’s time you brag a little about being a lifesaver! Plain and simple, your blood, platelet and plasma donations save lives. That’s why we’re offering our selfless donors this exclusive “I’m Kind of a Big Deal” T-shirt for donating around the Memorial Day holiday.

All donors who come to give blood, platelets or plasma May 26 – June 1, 2023, will receive a Big Deal Blood Donor or Platelet Donor T-shirt,* or 200 bonus points in the donor recognition program.**

Memorial Day weekend is the kickoff for summer and is often filled with celebration and tributes for our nation’s service members. But while many families are busy traveling, others are spending their weekend at the hospital. Help ensure patients get the transfusions they need by scheduling your next appointment.

Important information about this giveaway:
  • The Big Deal T-shirt is for participating donors who come to donate from Friday, May 26 through Thursday, June 1, 2023, at any Vitalant blood drive or donation center.
  • Physical T-shirt will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
  • Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive T-shirt in the mail. While supplies last.
  • Donors must have a valid email address in their Vitalant donor record to get the redemption email to claim the T-shirt or 200 bonus points.
  • Final date to redeem T-shirt or 200 bonus points is June 23, 2023.
  • Some donors may qualify for additional promotions during this same time frame.

*Presenting donors who come to donate during the promotional time frame (May 26, 2023-June 1, 2023) are eligible ONLY if they provide their email address to enable redemption. Limit one (1) per presenting donation. Physical T-shirts will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location. This offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Instructions on how to claim T-shirt or bonus points will be sent to the email address provided in your donor record within 2 weeks after attempted donation. If T-shirt is selected, please allow up to 3 weeks for T-shirt delivery. While supplies last. **If you are currently a member of the Vitalant Donor Recognition Program, you may choose instead to receive an additional 200 bonus recognition points in your recognition account. (Power Red/whole blood/platelet/plasma donors will receive points as usual for their donation and may also choose to receive the additional 200 bonus points instead of the T-shirt.)
