We’re giving a shoutout to donors over the Labor Day holiday with an exclusive, customizable T-shirt. Give props to your giving state and your donation type (blood or platelets)! Summer may be winding down, but the need for blood and platelet donations remains urgent.
All whole blood, platelet, plasma and Power Red donors who come to donate Aug. 29-Sept.7 can choose a T-shirt that displays where you donate and what you give.* While supplies last. Donor Rewards program opt-in required.

Important information:
- Physical T-shirt and gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
- Donors must have a valid email address in their Vitalant donor record.
- The T-shirt is for participating donors who come to donate Friday, Aug. 29 through Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025. Donor Rewards program opt-in is required.
- The $20 gift card is for participating donors who come to donate Friday, Aug. 29 through Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, and use code LABORDAY-2025-V when scheduling their appointment. Donor Rewards program opt-in is required.
- The T-shirt will be available in the online donor store within two days after donation.
- Approximately 7-14 days after donation, enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $20 electronic gift card of choice in the online donor store.
- Donors must log in to their donor accounts to access the online donor store to redeem the T-shirt and their points for the gift card.
- Some donors may qualify for additional promotions during this same time frame.
*Presenting donors who come to donate at a Vitalant blood drive or donation center during the promotional time frame (Aug. 29-Sept. 7, 2025) are eligible to redeem for the T-shirt in the online Donor Rewards store ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted into the Donor Rewards program. Limit one (1) T-shirt per presenting donation. Physical T-shirt will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Within two days after donation, the T-shirt will be available in the online donor store. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. Vitalant reserves the right to send a gift of equal value in replacement of presented offer. **Presenting donors who come to donate whole blood, Power Red, platelets or plasma with Vitalant during the promotional time frame (Aug. 29-Sept. 1, 2025) and use code LABORDAY-2025-V when scheduling are eligible and will receive points ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted in to the Donor Rewards program. Donors who have an unsuccessful donation will receive regular donation points and bonus points only if they have a scheduled appointment using this code. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Approximately 7-14 days after donation, enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $20 electronic gift card of choice in the online donor store. Bonus points are in addition to regular donation points earned. Physical gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location nor will a redemption email be sent.
