Important information about the 2026 Platelet Donor T-Shirt and Vital Elite Backpack Cooler:
- Donors who give 6 platelet donations in 2026 will qualify to order the Vital Elite Platelet Donor T-Shirt in the online donor store.*
- Donors who give 12 platelet donations in 2026 will qualify to order the Vital Elite Backpack Cooler in the online donor store.**
- Once you qualify for either thank-you item, you’ll receive a congratulations email from us. We encourage you to keep giving throughout the rest of the year.
- You need to have an online donor account AND be opted into the Donor Rewards program to be able to order either item in the online donor store.
- Within two days after giving your qualifying donation, log in to your donor account, then click “Rewards” and “Redeem Rewards” to enter the online donor rewards store to order the Vital Elite Platelet Donor T-Shirt or T-shirt. (Note: there are no bonus rewards points associated with these items; donors who qualify to receive them will see them displayed in the online donor store. Items may not appear in the Donor Rewards store until June 1, 2026.)
- The items will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
- Limit of 1 backpack cooler and 1 T-shirt per qualifying donor.
- Final date to redeem in the online donor store is Jan. 29, 2027.
- Please allow up to 3 weeks to receive the Vital Elite Platelet Donor T-Shirt or Vital Elite Backpack Cooler in the mail. While supplies last.

*Donors who give six (6) platelet donations during the promotional time frame (Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2026) are eligible to redeem the Platelet Donor T-Shirt in the online Donor Rewards store ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted into the Donor Rewards program. Limit one (1) T-shirt per donor. Platelet Donor T-Shirt will NOT be handed out at the donation center. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Within two days after the qualifying platelet donation, the Platelet Donor T-Shirt will be available in the online donor store. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. Vitalant reserves the right to send a gift of equal value in replacement of presented offer. Final date to redeem the Platelet Donor T-shirt in the online donor store is Jan. 29, 2027. Please allow up to 3 weeks for it to arrive in the mail. While supplies last.
*Donors who give twelve (12) platelet donations during the promotional time frame (Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2026) are eligible to redeem the Vital Elite Backpack Cooler in the online Donor Rewards store ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted into the Donor Rewards program. Limit one (1) backpack cooler per donor. Backpack coolers will NOT be handed out at the donation center. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Within two days after donation, the backpack cooler will be available in the online donor store. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. Vitalant reserves the right to send a gift of equal value in replacement of presented offer.
