MLS Scholarship
Information and Application

The Vitalant MLS Scholarship provides tuition assistance to students pursuing a career in Immunohematology (blood banking) or blood donation. Scholarship recipients commit to working for Vitalant Reference Laboratory for 36 months (3 years) after graduation.

Award Amount:

$10,000 award towards tuition

Eligibility Requirements:

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program.
The educational institution must have an active affiliation agreement with Vitalant.
Applicant must demonstrate an interest in Immunohematology (blood banking).

Review Process:

Applications will be reviewed by the Vitalant Scholarship Committee.
Applicants will receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
Award notifications will be sent within the published timeline.

Recipient Commitments:

Recipients agree to work for Vitalant Reference Laboratory for 36 months post-graduation.
Scholarships are non-transferable.
