Vitalant, Arizona's Blood Provider
More than 600 Vitalant blood donors are needed every day to save patients in 65 Arizona hospitals. Vitalant is Arizona's provider responsible for meeting patient transfusion needs for 100% of the hospitals across Maricopa County and 90% statewide. The number of Americans who give blood is declining. There is no substitute for human blood and many patients cannot survive without it.
