How It Works

Participate in Three Simple Steps *

• Host blood drives between January 1 and December 31, 2027
• Collect 12 or more red cell donations per blood drive
• Serve as the primary Blood Drive Coordinator on record

Once your participation has been verified, redemption instructions will be emailed to the primary Blood Drive Coordinator on record.

*This information is for the purposes of the 2027 Blood Drive Coordinator (BDC) Frequency Promotion only. Blood Drive Coordinators must be listed as the Primary Contact in the Vitalant system and each qualifying blood drive must collect a minimum of 12 red cell donations to count toward the promotion. Qualification is cumulative throughout the 2027 calendar year. Virtual blood drives are not eligible. Appreciation items and rewards are available while supplies last. One Blood Drive Coordinator may earn each appreciation level as promotion requirements are met. Redemption instructions will be sent by email to the primary blood drive contact after eligibility has been verified. A valid first name, last name and email address are required to receive redemption communications. Appreciation items and rewards will not be distributed at blood drives. Physical appreciation items will be shipped to the address provided during redemption. Digital rewards, including gift cards, will be delivered electronically. Appreciation items and rewards are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash unless otherwise specified. Members of Vitalant's Mobile Donor Recruitment department are not eligible to participate. Vitalant employees serving in the capacity of Blood Drive Coordinator for community blood drives may be eligible if all promotion requirements are met.
