ABOUT THE DRIVE
Vitalant is teaming up with Douglas County area police, fire and EMS departments to host a friendly competition to encourage the community to help save lives this spring. Donors will decide who will bring home the trophy for the most blood donations by voting for their favorite: Team Law or Team Fire.
Regardless of who wins bragging rights this year, the entire community wins by teaming up together to make a lifesaving difference. Donors of all types are needed to help patients of all blood types. The need is greatest for type O, the most transfused and most compatible when a patient’s type isn’t immediately known.

Donors interested in supporting their favorite team but can’t make it on the drive days can schedule a blood donation at any of Vitalant’s convenient locations between now and March 25 using either Team Law or Team Fire’s referral code when booking their appointment:
