Important information for the gift card and mystery gift:
- Physical gift card/mystery gift will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
- Donors must have a valid email address in their Vitalant donor record.
- The $15 gift card and mystery gift are for participating donors who come to donate Sunday, Dec. 14 through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2025. Donor Rewards program opt-in is required.
- While most bonus points for the gift card will appear in donor accounts about a week after donation, it could take an additional week for them to be loaded and available to redeem in the online donor store.
- The mystery gift item will be available in the online donor store within 2 days after donation.
- Donors must log in to their donor accounts to access the online donor store to redeem their mystery gift and points for the gift card.
- Some donors may qualify for additional promotions during this same time frame.
*Presenting donors who come to donate whole blood, Power Red, platelets or plasma with Vitalant during the promotional time frame (Dec. 14, 2025-Jan. 4, 2026) are eligible and will receive points ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted in to the Donor Rewards program. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Approximately 7-14 days after donation, enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $15 electronic gift card of choice in the online Donor Rewards store. Bonus points are in addition to regular donation points earned. Physical gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location nor will a redemption email be sent. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. A successful donation is NOT required to receive the promotional item.
**Presenting donors who come to donate at a Vitalant blood drive or donation center during the promotional time frame (Dec. 14, 2025-Jan. 4, 2026) are eligible to redeem for the mystery gift in the online Donor Rewards store ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted into the Donor Rewards program. Limit one (1) mystery gift item per presenting donation. Physical item will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Within two days after donation, the mystery gift item will be available in the online donor store. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. Vitalant reserves the right to send a gift of equal value in replacement of presented offer. Final date to redeem the mystery gift item in the online donor store is Feb. 5, 2026. Please allow up to 3 weeks for it to arrive in the mail. While supplies last. A successful donation is NOT required to receive the promotional item.
