Join the Real-World Mission

Calling all "Iron Lung" fans to accept the challenge to save lives. Unlike the film's sea of blood, here on earth blood has a limited shelf-life and must constantly be replenished to help patients. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs a blood transfusion.
Your mission:
Check your eligibility to donate. Then reserve your spot by Feb. 28 using the button below and your donation at any Vitalant location will count toward the Iron Lung Blood Drive and overall impact will be shared with @markiplier.

Donor preparation

  • Allow at least an hour to complete your donation.
  • 16 and some 17-year olds need to bring a signed Vitalant parental consent form.
  • Be well nourished and hydrated ahead of your donation.
  • Bring an I.D. with your first and last name plus date of birth and/or your photo.
