Vitalant and iHeart Media celebrate the holidays by making a difference. There is a vital need for blood donors right now. People traveling, schools on break, cold and flu season settling in all collide to make the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s the time of fewest blood collections on average compared to the rest of the year. Patients continue to need blood transfusions.
