Important information:

Donors MUST use code OCTDONOR-2026-V when scheduling their appointment.
Donors must give their donation between Oct. 1-31, 2026.
Donors last donation must have been made 24 months or less to qualify for this promotion.
Donors must first have an account and be opted in to the Donor Rewards program prior to their donation to receive points to redeem for the gift card.
The gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
After donation (about 7-14 days), enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $20 gift card of their choice.
Donors must log in to their donor account to access the online donor store to redeem their points for the Rewards gift card.
Donors must have a valid email address in their Vitalant donor record.
Some donors may qualify for additional promotions during this same time frame.

*Presenting donors who come to donate whole blood, Power Red, platelets or plasma with Vitalant during the promotional time frame (October 1-31, 2026), whose last blood donation was 24 or less months, and use code OCTDONOR-2026-V when scheduling an appointment are eligible and will receive points ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted in to the Donor Rewards program. Donors who have an unsuccessful donation will receive regular donation points and bonus points only if they have a scheduled appointment using this code. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. Offer is subject to change at any time during the promotional time frame. Approximately 7-14 days after donation, enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $20 electronic gift card of choice in the online Donor Rewards program. Bonus points are in addition to regular donation points earned. Physical gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location nor will a redemption email be sent. Some donors may qualify for an additional promotion during this same time frame. If a donor uses a different code (ex. Refer a Friend, virtual blood drive or another targeted promotion) they will not receive the $20 Rewards gift card.
