Blood donors help people like Kellie, who was just 10 years old when she was diagnosed with leukemia not once, but twice. Kellie experienced symptoms while on an Independence Day holiday weekend camping trip in Arizona and was air-lifted to the hospital, where immediate blood transfusions sustained her life. Grateful for the doctors and 131 blood donors who helped save her life, today Kellie works as a nurse at an Arizona hospital.
