Umbrella and gift card will NOT be handed out at the blood donation location.
Donors must first have an account and be opted in to the Donor Rewards program prior to their donation to receive points to redeem for the gift card.
After donation (about 7-14 days), enough bonus points will be added to the donor’s account to redeem for a $30 gift card of their choice. Umbrella is redeemable by email.

Gift card and Umbrella are for type O donors whose last donation was more than 25 months ago.

*Type O donors who present to donate a whole blood or Power Red donation with Vitalant during the promotional time frame (June 1-Aug 31, 2026) and their prior donation was more than 25 months ago are eligible for this promotion. Donors will receive points ONLY if they’ve first created an online donor account AND opted in to the Donor Rewards program AND scheduled an appointment prior to donating using code COMEBACK-2026-V. Approximately 2 weeks after donation, bonus points will be added to the donor’s account, which will be enough to redeem for a total of $30 in electronic gift cards of choice in the online donor rewards store. Donors will also be eligible for an umbrella to be redeemed using a link sent to the email address provided, while supplies last. Valid email address is required. Limit one (1) umbrella per donor. Instructions on how to claim the umbrella will be sent to the email address on file on or around September 4, 2026. Offer is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
