Your donation makes a life-changing difference for Arizona residents like Sawyer Barth.

Sawyer, a senior at Casa Grande Union High School, received lifesaving blood donations during his battle with leukemia. When he was admitted to the hospital in 2022, doctors discovered that 95% of his bone marrow was leukemic. Thanks to expert care, chemotherapy, and the generosity of more than 20 blood donors, Sawyer was able to ring the remission bell at Phoenix Children’s Hospital on April 28, 2025, a powerful symbol of hope and healing.

“With your blood donation, people like me are given a strengthened chance at life,” Sawyer shared. “It’s your sacrifice for which I am forever grateful.”
