Meet the New Board Members
Eric Bottolfsen, MBA – Financial advisor and co-founder of Allwealth Planning, recognized for his advocacy in financial literacy and community service.Michael P. Busch, M.D., Ph.D. – Global leader in transfusion medicine and infectious disease research spanning 39 years with Vitalant Research Institute, and a professor at the University of California, San Francisco.
Lori A. Higuera, J.D. – Assistant General Counsel at Freeport-McMoRan, and a widely recognized civic and legal leader.
Shannon Mishkin – Longtime supporter of medical research, philanthropic strategist, former marketing executive, and community advocate focused on inspiring and engaging young philanthropists.
Pierre Noel, M.D. – Mayo Clinic Professor and Director of Military Medicine, with extensive experience in hematology, national security medicine, and special operations.
Eric Silvernail – Retired federal contractor program manager, who for 12 years ran the contract including the team, products and services supporting the country’s largest telehealth program for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Connected Care, supporting over 1,300 locations and 9 million veterans.
Sanjay Srivastava, Ph.D. – Managing Director at Accenture and global expert in advanced therapies, including cell and gene therapy, with a career spanning consulting, innovation, and healthcare transformation.
Jim Swanson – Retired CEO of Kitchell and community advocate with leadership across education, healthcare, and economic development.
Kelli York – Licensed therapist and former nonprofit leader with a focus on mental health, addiction recovery, and family support.
Incumbent community members of the Vitalant Foundation Board are Sunny P. Chico (Chair), James P. Covert, James T. Schraith (Co-Chair), Gordon Smith and Russ York.
